We are seeking an enthusiastic Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and compassion. As a Radiologic Technologist at First Health, you will play a vital role in our mission to provide exceptional patient care. You will utilize diagnostic imaging equipment to perform imaging procedures, ensuring the highest standards of safety and accuracy. Your expertise will help us deliver critical information to our medical team, aiding in the diagnosis and treatment of our patients.
Responsibilities- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment, computer, and image management systems utilized in performing diagnostic exams.
- Determine how the technique selections affect optimal image quality.
- Follow policy and procedures.
- Navigate online resources pertinent to job responsibilities.
- Lift and move patients; push and pull wheelchairs and stretchers; withstand extensive standing, stooping, bending, squatting; operate heavy machines/equipment; perform repetitive tasks.
- Demonstrate the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.
- Work weekends, holidays, shift rotations, and on‑call as required.
- ARRT registered or registry eligible from an accredited radiology program.
- Maintain certification in BCLS.
- Computer skills.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Display critical thinking and decision‑making skills.
