• Perform mammography exams and invasive procedures while adhering to radiology and safety protocols.
• Operate mammography equipment, computer, and image management systems.
• Perform and assess quality control measures on equipment and procedures.
• Determine how technique selections affect optimal image quality.
• Follow policy and procedures.
• Communicate with other individuals and navigate online resources pertinent to job responsibilities.
• Lift and move patients, push and pull wheelchairs and stretchers; withstand extensive standing, stooping, bending, squatting or sitting; perform repetitive tasks.
• Demonstrate skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.
• Opportunity to cross‑train in diagnostic imaging in ED and with portables.
• Work weekends and shift rotations.

• ARRT registered RT-(R) (M) and meet MQSA standards for performing mammography.
• Maintains certification in BLS.
• Personal computer skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Display critical thinking and decision‑making skills.
