Communicates effectively with a wide variety of age groups, ethnic, educational, as well as socioeconomic backgrounds. Demonstrates competent physical assessment skills necessary to assess maternal fetal care for high-risk pregnancy patients. Displays effective organizational skills, with ability to prioritize care management and direct others with accuracy and speed. Illustrates proficient computer skills pertinent to coordination of care depicted within the electronic medical
record. Demonstrates effective problem solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical and organizational skills. Serves as the go-to-person for the physicians, sonographer, and staff in a clinical setting. Reviews referrals and completes prior authorizations as needed.
QualificationsThe following qualifications are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of this position:
Graduate of an approved School of Nursing with a current North Carolina RN license or RN multi-state licensure privilege through the Nurse Licensure Compact. Three years clinic/medical surgical nursing experience required. Three years of Labor and Deliver nursing experience required. BLS and Advanced Fetal Monitoring. Basic leadership skills needed.
