provocado. Inpatient Oncology is a 23‑bed unit that provides holistic, specialized nursing care to patients and their families using a multidisciplinary approach. The unit focuses on cancer and related complications as well as end‑of‑life care. Nurses provide care to patients with new or active cancer diagnoses and those with a history of cancer. Chemotherapy administration within the unit requires a certification through the Oncology Nursing Society.

Valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License required. Experience required. Employees who begin employment at First Health of the Carolinas in a RN position must obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within five (5) years of their employment date to meet the present and future demands of the nursing profession.
