American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health for an inpatient psychiatric/detox unit requiring 2+ years of inpatient BH experience and NC or compact RN licensure.
Requirements- Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
- BLS and CPI certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient behavioral health experience required
- Crisis intervention experience required (1-3 years)
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Inpatient Behavioral Health and Detox unit
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Patient ratio of 1:5
- Uses Epic charting system
- Provide direct patient care within an inpatient behavioral health and detox setting
- Facility performs its own pre-employment drug screen upon arrival, in addition to standard credentialing requirements
- Candidates residing in Moore County are not eligible for the travel pay rate
- Former facility employees must have been separated from employment for at least one year to be considered
