Grounds Technician-Grounds Maintenance-Part Time – Pinehurst Resort
Summary
Provide day‑to‑day general maintenance to ensure resort‑quality grounds.
Education & Experience
No high school diploma required. Minimum three years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Operate company vehicle; valid driver’s license and successful pre‑employment MVR. Follow safe, defensive driving practices and company policies.
- Mow and groom grounds and amenities.
- Hand‑water, weed‑eat, edge, blow, and prepare flower and ornamental beds.
- Assist in planting seasonal color, trees, shrubs, and woody ornamentals.
- Perform hand labor including raking, shoveling, pushing, and lifting.
Physical Demands
Employee required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently. Must lift or move up to 50 pounds and possess close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and visual focus abilities.
Work Environment
Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and loud noise. Must remain aware of surroundings, errant golf balls, guest experience, and follow proper golf etiquette.
