Public Safety Officer

The Public Safety Officer is responsible for the safety and security of patients, visitors, and employees. Responsibilities include responding to all coded alarms, performing security escorts, conducting preliminary investigations, completing security incident reports, enforcing and regulating campus parking guidelines, and performing security rounds to inspect all areas for security and safety hazards.

Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. Valid NC driver’s license with a good driving record. Minimum of six months of previous job experience in security or law enforcement preferred.
