• Must have worked as a Process Engineer for industrial plants (Chemical, Agrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Fine chemicals, Specialty chemicals, Food & Beverages)
• Experience in a Surfactant making plant is preferred
• Ability to prepare and understand PFD, P&IDs, mass & energy balance calculations, hydraulic calculations
• Understand basic chemical engineering fundamentals such as heat transfer, fluid mechanics, solid handling, mass transfer, etc.
• Should be able to specify process plant equipment and have hands‑on experience in selecting equipment per project requirements
• Experience sizing and designing powder handling equipment is an added advantage
• Should be able to specify pumps, heat exchangers, tanks and other equipment independently
• Experience in selecting safety devices and process safety management activities
• Previous work experience in sanitary piping & process systems is a plus
• Conversant with MS Office applications
• Familiarity with AutoCAD is an added advantage
• Familiarity with AFT Fathom, AFT Arrow and other hydraulic calculation software will be added advantage

• Engineering – Chemical (BE/B.Tech/BS/MS)
• Relevant experience in the chemical/industry domain
