- Retention Pay of $1.00, and up to $5.00 for every hour worked.
- Premium Pay of $2.00 for every hour worked.
Position may be filled as Probation, Promotion, Demotion, or Transfer.

FUNCTION OF WORK:To improve the functioning of individual clients and/or organizations involving the limited application of psychological principles and techniques within areas such as direct services, consultation, training, or research. Services vary based on organizational needs and specialization.
LEVEL OF WORK:Entry.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:Clinical supervision from a licensed psychologist; administrative supervision from a facility administrator or higher-level professional.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:May supervise paraprofessional, semi-professional, and clerical staff.
LOCATION OF WORK:Statewide.
JOB DISTINCTIONS:Differs from Psychologist 2 by the absence of a license to practice as a psychologist.
Sample Duties:- Performs clinical duties under supervision.
- Selects, administers, and interprets psychological tests.
- Conducts interviews, assessments, and treatments.
- Provides psychotherapy and counseling.
- Implements behavior modification programs.
- Reports test and evaluation results.
- Conducts limited research projects.
- Prepares records and reports.
