Mills Auto Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Body Shop Manager to lead our body shop operations in the south. This role requires a hands-on leader who can ensure high-quality workmanship, exceptional customer service, and efficient shop management. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to foster a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of the body shop, ensuring timely and high-quality repairs.
- Manage, coach, and develop the body shop team to promote productivity and growth.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Coordinate with insurance companies and customers to facilitate repair approvals and estimates.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Monitor inventory and order materials as needed to optimize workflow and budget.
- Analyze shop performance metrics and prepare reports for upper management.
- Resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Proven experience managing a body shop or similar automotive repair facility.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of industry repair standards, insurance processes, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency with estimating software and shop management systems.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in the US.
