We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator to join our skilled team in Pineville, North Carolina. This role offers the opportunity to work on unique, custom-built systems in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Perform GTAW/MIG welding on stainless steel with a focus on quality and precision.
- Use and maintain a variety of machine shop tools.
- Fabricate and assemble custom components and systems based on job specifications (non-production work).
- Collaborate with the engineering team to interpret and execute tasks using detailed blueprints and technical drawings.
- Work with vacuum and thin-wall tubing (≤ 3/16” wall thickness) – experience in this area is a significant advantage.
- Ensure the final finish and assembly of fabricated components meet Elnik’s high standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members across all departments and organizational levels.
- 5-7 years of experience in GTAW/MIG welding on stainless steel.
- Strong proficiency with machine shop tools and processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints with accuracy.
- Experience in vacuum and/or thin-wall tubing fabrication is highly desirable.
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
