About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The LPN will provide high‑quality nursing care to patients in a hospital setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well‑being in accordance with established policies, procedures, and scope of practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician.
- Perform patient assessments and document observations and interventions accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient responses to treatments and report any changes to the RN or physician.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care.
- Provide patient and family education and emotional support.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, active LPN license in the State of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital experience.
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent).
- Strong clinical skills and sound judgment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
