Job DescriptionThe Associate Financial Consultant assists Financial Advisors in establishing a portfolio of bank customers based on meeting the financial objectives of the customer through sound guidance and advice.
Primary Responsibilities- Establish joint appointments with Financial Advisors and customers
- Work with Financial Advisors on preparing and scheduling meetings
- Assist in covering branches that do not have a dedicated Financial Advisor
- Respond to customer and Financial Advisors' requests
- Update customer information
- Complete required and assigned training modules
- Become familiar and educated with investment products to meet customers' investment needs
- Demonstrate customer-focused partnership with branch staff
- High School Diploma or GED
- Six (6) months of related experience
- Life Insurance License strongly preferred
- Obtain FINRA registrations including Series 6, 7, 63, 65, or 66
- Ability to engage in a high-touch environment
- Ability to gain understanding of customers' current financial standing and their short- and long-term financial goals
- Ability to work toward full licensing within six (6) months or a mutually agreed upon timeframe
Base compensation and variable compensation; total compensation earning potential $40,000 – $100,000+.
Position TypeFull time.
Incentive Pay PlansEligible to participate in a commission incentive plan. Employees can earn commission based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
