The Application Engineer will provide technical and commercial sales support, responsible for rapid delivery of quotations and support data to regional sales managers and channel partners to drive sales growth. The role requires strong product knowledge, organizational, and communication skills.

Piqua, Ohio – Crane Pumps & Systems, Sales Department, Process Flow Technologies

• Review customer specifications to determine needs.
• Initiate product quotes and collaborate with peers for balanced workload.
• Maintain key performance indicators such as quotes, win/loss, and response time.
• Assist channel partners and regional sales managers with technical requests and preliminary field issue troubleshooting.
• Support new product development and other tasks as assigned.
• Provide product training for channel partners.
• Travel up to 10% of time for customer visits, trade shows, and partner visits.
• Other duties as assigned.

• BS degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience as an Application Engineer preferred.
• Strong systems thinking and understanding of rotating equipment a plus.
• Strong sense of urgency and customer focus.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships internally and externally, even under difficult circumstances.
• Interest in a future outside sales position preferred.
