Job Overview
Join to apply for the Concrete Pump Operator CDL Class A or B role at SRM Concrete. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced operator to operate and maintain concrete pump trucks, ensuring efficient and safe delivery to construction sites. This role requires precision and responsibility, impacting project timelines and construction quality.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate concrete pump trucks, setting up equipment and ensuring proper handling and delivery.
- Work closely with the site team to fill forms, columns, walls, and floors as specified in construction plans.
- Perform regular maintenance checks and routine repairs on pump trucks and ancillary equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues on-site, minimizing disruptions.
- Comply with all safety regulations and standards for pumping and general site safety.
- Maintain accurate records of operations: delivery volumes, maintenance, incidents.
- Coordinate with construction managers and crew to optimize pour schedules.
- Provide guidance to new team members, fostering collaboration.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical school/vocational training a plus.
- Proven experience as a Concrete Pump Operator or similar role.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record.
- Solid understanding of concrete properties, pump mechanics, and maintenance.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork.
- Physical fitness to work in varying weather and demanding conditions.
- Commitment to safety protocols.
- Willingness to undergo SRM’s pre‑employment screenings.
