Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Telecommunications Analyst for the Office of Information Technology. This position provides leadership and management of the University’s CAD and telecommunications infrastructure documentation services, including engineering drawings, GIS / KMZ mapping, and the Rutgers Cable Management System (RCMS) supporting the University’s fiber optic and copper telecommunications infrastructure.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Manages the daily operations of the CAD and documentation team.
- Establishes priorities, ensures compliance with University standards and industry best practices.
- Provides technical leadership and quality assurance for engineering documentation and infrastructure records.
