As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Monitoring in Piscataway, NJ
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Our Security Officers support a premier retail location by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and team members, and respond to security-related concerns. • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity at a luxury retail location, following established procedures for entry, deliveries, and employee access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and perimeter, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Assist with the protection of merchandise, property, and brand presentation by observing activity and promptly reporting suspicious behavior.

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
