About the Company

Loop Neighborhood Market is based in Union City, California, with stores and stations across California. Founded in 1978, the company develops real estate and owns and operates gas stations with convenience stores and car washes. It also has a wholesale division that delivers fuel to dealer locations.

We are looking for all levels (including entry level) of hardworking, dedicated, customer‑focused individuals who enjoy interacting with customers and helping make a difference. We offer both full‑time and part‑time careers across three shifts. Our Team Members are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the station during their shift, contributing to profitability and growth, and providing outstanding customer service.

• Managing the cash register, ensuring the money stays balanced and customers are assisted efficiently.
• Stocking products on shelves, maintaining a clean, professional store environment.
• Providing prompt, courteous customer service to store customers, vendors, and staff.
• Maintaining a clean, customer‑friendly environment in the store and surrounding property.
• Troubleshooting and resolving car wash related issues as needed.
• Preparing shift reports at shift end per company guidelines.
• Crossing and upselling store products and sales to assist in increasing store sales.
• Escalating high‑priority issues to the immediate manager.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

• Flexible schedule availability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient reading, understanding, and writing in English.
• Basic math skills including proper calculation of change.
• Ability to validate identification for tobacco and/alcohol sales, as required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
• Ability to remain calm and respond to emergencies according to company policies.
• Tolerance to exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
• Work in various temperature environments (coolers, outdoors, station).

• Employees with us 6 months–3 years: 0.10 cents off a gallon of fuel.
• Employees with us 3–5 years: 0.30 cents off a gallon of fuel.
• Employees with us 5+ years: 0.40 cents off a gallon of fuel.
• Maximum 20 gallons and 2 fill‑ups per week.

• Must be 18+ years old to work 1st and 2nd shift.
• Minimum 21 years old to work 3rd shift.

$17.55 - $19.00 per hour.
