SIGN ON BONUS** $1,500 for Full Time Evenings & $500 for Part Time Evenings
Pitman Manor, a UMC Community in Gloucester County, serves senior residents with comfort and dignity. It is located in a beautiful residential neighborhood near highways, public transportation, Philadelphia and the Jersey Shore.
CNA:
Certified Nursing Assistant performs various non‑professional nursing care activities and related services necessary to care for the personal needs and comfort of the residents.
- Perform personal care activities for residents.
- Complete daily skin checks and report changes to the nurse immediately.
- Participate in the dining experience, serving, clearing, cutting & feeding based on residents’ strengths.
- Share resident preferences with other staff using appropriate communication methods.
- Maintain continuity of care daily by documenting and communicating care tasks completed with each resident assigned in the point of care kiosk.
- Attend and actively participate with the Interdisciplinary Team Care Plan meeting to identify strengths based approaches for assigned residents.
- Assist residents with adaptive equipment, including walkers, wheelchairs, eyeglasses, dentures and hearing aids.
- Understand, use and follow restorative nursing principles and practices to help residents maintain optimal function and maximize strengths.
- Read and understand individualized summary plans and provide support according to the plan.
- Observe and identify residents’ changing needs and report immediately to nursing as appropriate.
- Take and record vital signs and weights as instructed; make rounds several times each shift to identify residents needing assistance.
- Perform treatment tasks under supervision of licensed nurse and therapist.
- Seek learning opportunities for personal growth: complete in‑services training programs, attend nursing staff meetings, and mandatory assigned training.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months experience in a long‑term care setting.
- Current and valid CNA certification in New Jersey.
Salary: $21.50 – $23.50 per hour.
