Accounts Receivable​/Payable Analyst

Position Summary

Bishop-Wisecarver is seeking an AR & AP Analyst who will manage the full procure-to-pay and order-to-cash cycles, administer our expense platforms and support banking reconciliations.

1. Accounts Payable (Procure-to-Pay Ownership)

• Full-Cycle AP: Manage the end-to-end AP process, including coding, approval workflows, and weekly payment runs (Check, ACH, Wire).
• Inventory & GRN Analysis: Reconcile vendor invoices against Purchase Orders and Receiving logs to resolve price/quantity variances; actively monitor and clear the "Goods Received Not Invoiced" report.
• Expense Management: Serve as the Administrator for SAP Concur
  , auditing employee expense reports for policy compliance and managing the integration with the ERP.
• Vendor Data: Maintain the vendor master database, ensuring accurate banking details, W-9s, and 1099 compliance.

Accounts Receivable & Credit Control

• Billing & Collections: Generate accurate customer invoices based on shipping logs; monitor aging reports and lead B2B collection efforts to minimize Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
• Cash Applications: Post daily cash receipts (Lockbox, ACH, Wires, Credit Cards) to customer accounts, reconciling remittances.
• Credit Risk: Review credit applications for new customers, analyze D B reports, and recommend credit limits to management.

General Ledger & Systems Analysis

• Bank Reconciliations: Perform semi-monthly reconciliations for multiple operating accounts.
• Month-End Support: Prepare journal entries for accruals, prepaid expenses, and depreciation; assist in the timely closing of the financial books.

• Experience: 2-4 years in Finance/Accounting role (manufacturing accounting experience is a plus).
• Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to trace transactions through the system to identify root causes of errors.
