Mechanical Technician

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Reading assembly and mechanical drawings.
• Working using written work instructions.
• Installing mechanical components.
• Disassembling and removing existing mechanical components.
• Reading, setting, and correctly using a torque wrench.
• Utilizing a wide variety of tools and equipment proficiently and safely.
• Working with mechanical and electrical machines.
• Working with tools (hand, power, pneumatic air, etc.).
• Operating any equipment needed to perform the job, such as forklifts.
• Maintaining all tools and equipment in good working order.
• Performing general housekeeping.
• Performing additional duties as needed.
• Following the direction of Production and Testing Supervisors.
• Having availability to work in the second shift.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Ability to read assembly and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to work using written work instructions.
• Experience installing mechanical components.
• Experience disassembling and removing existing mechanical components.
• Knowledge of how to read, set, and correctly use a torque wrench.
• Ability to utilize a wide variety of tools and equipment proficiently and safely.
• Experience working with mechanical and electrical machines.
• Experience working with tools (hand, power, pneumatic air, etc.).
• Ability to operate any equipment needed to perform the job, such as forklifts.
• Ability to maintain all tools and equipment in good working order.
• Ability to perform general housekeeping.
• Ability to perform additional duties as needed.
