General merchandise associates greet customers on the sales floor, offer assistance, and recommend merchandise based on customer wants and needs. They also maintain Hobbies & Home Improvement displays in proper order, and may be responsible for tasks such as paint mixing and fabric cutting.

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service and assistance on the sales floor.
• Recommend products that match customer preferences.
• Maintain and organize merchandise displays—including Hobbies & Home Improvement departments.
• Prepare items for sale, such as paint mixing and fabric cutting.
• Support back‑office tasks that help store operations run smoothly.

• Base pay range: $17.00/hr – $30.00/hr
• Hourly wage: $17 – $30 per hour
• Actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
• Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
• Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed (may accumulate if all criteria are met).
