Outside Sales Rep – United Rentals Life

As an Outside Sales Representative for the Fluid Solutions Division, you will be the primary point of contact for our industry‑leading equipment. You will rent and sell specialty engineered equipment such as hydraulic pumps, using your sales and consultative skills to turn prospects into loyal customers.

• Maximize revenue from facilities and construction sites within a defined territory
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers and their subsidiaries
• Prospect and qualify new accounts, including dormant or competitor customers
• Collaborate with specialty division reps to cross‑sell opportunities
• Prepare sales action plans and strategies
• Develop and deliver presentations of company products and services
• Utilize  and other CRM tools to build a pipeline of opportunities
• Monitor competitors, market conditions, and product development
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Three years of sales experience
• Exceptional relationship‑building and communication skills
• Strong planning, problem‑solving, and negotiation abilities
• Knowledge of construction or related equipment preferred
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

This role includes a base salary and monthly commissions based on performance. A minimum monthly guarantee incentive is provided during onboarding.
