Finish Coat is looking for a dependable, skilled, and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craftsmanship, works efficiently, treats customers' homes with care, and consistently delivers a high-quality finished product.

As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and finishes, protecting customer property, maintaining a clean work area, and completing residential painting projects according to Finish Coat's quality standards.

• Prepare interior and exterior surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, and priming.
• Apply paint, stains, primers, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, and sprayers as appropriate.
• Produce clean, consistent lines and professional-quality finishes.
• Protect furniture, flooring, fixtures, landscaping, and other areas from paint and damage.
• Follow project specifications and color/finish requirements.
• Identify surface imperfections and complete necessary preparation before painting.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout each project.
• Properly clean and maintain painting tools and equipment.
• Work efficiently while maintaining high standards for quality and safety.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Treat customers' homes and property with respect and care.
• Complete projects according to established schedules and company expectations.
• Perform final touch-ups and quality checks before leaving a job site.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and company policies.

• Previous residential painting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of interior and exterior painting techniques.
• Experience with surface preparation, priming, caulking, patching, brushing, rolling, and spraying.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Ability to work on ladders and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry painting equipment and materials.
