Pittsburg Tractor has a career opportunity available for a qualified individual seeking employment in the equipment dealer industry as a Service Technician.
Location: Pittsburg, TX
Reports to: Manager
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for independently performing diagnostics, servicerepairsand maintenance work on agricultural,andconstructionequipment
- Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders.
- Responsible for complete and thorough documentation of machine information, diagnostics,and repairs performed on work orders and on-timesubmittal of information.
- Required to participate in manufacturer-specific service training programs.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to troubleshoot and perform complex repairs correctly in the shop such as pumps, hydraulic, engine, transmissions, HVAC, and electrical issues.
- Minimum 3yrs experience troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines and after treatment systems
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment using electronic and manual equipment todeterminefailure.
- Proficient Computer Skills – Preferred experience with Kubota KOBD-ACE Diagnostics Tools
- Must have steady employment history
- Must have own tools
- Diesel Tech School is highly desired
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
Education/
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of work-related skill, knowledge, and/or dealer experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of agriculture and construction equipment operations and mechanical functions
