Average hourly rate: $14.00 (includes wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.).
Shift Details- This position is an on-call position.
- Shifts available:
Friday – Sunday. - Maximum of 30 hours per week.
- Shift begins at 5 pm, with flexible scheduling. You may choose the days that best work for you.
- Work may be at a child’s new foster home, a hospital, or any of our offices.
- Company car, cell phone, and computer are provided.
As a Crisis Support Worker, you will assist children after hours, including transporting a child to their new foster home or helping a child in moderate crisis.
What We Are Looking ForWe seek a compassionate, eager learner who wants to help children in times of crisis. The ideal candidate:
- Communicates clearly and effectively.
- Has a desire to help children grow, learn, and build healthy coping skills.
- Is motivated to advocate for children.
- Is interested in a part-time role and would like experience in the child welfare field.
High School diploma or equivalent required. Previous work experience demonstrating competency in a role serving children and families preferred. On-call availability during specified shifts.
