The Cage and Club Cashier is responsible to provide a level of service which is gracious, kind and warm that creates a sense of fondness that is Hometown Hospitality and has fun with our guests. The role requires strict adherence to Internal Control Policies and Procedures, state regulations, Bank Securities Act, Title 31 Rules and Regulations, and the company’s Responsible Gaming Plan.

• Safeguard company assets and adhere to all cage and club policies and procedures.
• Maintain and be held accountable for all funds entrusted to him/her on an assigned shift.
• Create teamwork by helping co‑workers with essential functions.
• Balance all money transactions and paperwork.
• Meet all attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures including strict attendance and appearance guidelines and confidentiality regarding player information.
• Handle guest financial and club transactions.
• Be alert for fraud, forged/counterfeit currency, and/or vouchers.
• Balance all funds under his/her responsibility and prepare reconciliation reports accordingly.
• Ensure at all times that the cash inventory is well secured.
• Issue free slot play, up to authorized limit, and food coupons to guests.
• Enter all new Club memberships and data entry; promote Club membership.
• Conduct himself/her in a gracious, kind, and warm manner and a professional, courteous and responsive manner that reflects positively on the company and its core values of Fun, Friendly, and Community.
• Other duties as assigned.

Must be 21 years of age or older. High school diploma or GED required. Banking and guest service experience preferred. Must have a friendly demeanor and be able to communicate well with the public. Must be able to work in an intense and fast-paced environment where a high degree of concentration is necessary. Must demonstrate a positive/enthusiastic approach to all assignments.

Attendance and punctuality are essential. Must be clean, well-groomed, and have a professional appearance. Must have an optimistic outlook and a proven track record of delivering service excellence with attention to quality details.

• Attend required training sessions offered by the casino.
• Obtain required license(s).
• Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
• Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the team member’s department.
• Have knowledge of the Property’s programs to address problem gambling.
• Consult with the appropriate individuals and maintain an effective system of written policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and internal controls.
• Take the appropriate steps to investigate exceptions, fraud, and potential violations and report such instances to the appropriate levels of management.
• Report any acts of wrongdoing on behalf of any staff member that they have knowledge of.
