Charge RN Med Surg (Nights) – Mercy

Apply to join the Mercy team as a Charge Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical unit, working night shifts. Use theoretical concepts to guide decisions in practice, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care per standards of nursing practice.

• Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 for experienced RNs (no contract)
• 25-bed hospital in Carthage serving local community.

Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care; maintain professional accountability for assigned patients; evaluate the effectiveness of care by other direct caregivers; coordinate patient care with other departments; maintain patient rights and confidentiality; perform duties consistent with Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years bedside related experience.
• Education: Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or BSN from a nursing school.
• Licensure: Current RN license in the hiring state or compact; meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within the probationary period; ACLS and BLS to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
