As a Registered Nurse at Mercy Carthage, you will assess patients referred by physicians to ensure they are appropriate for procedures, review medical, surgical and anesthesia histories, current medications, and determine if any pre‑treatment or additional clearance is needed. You will provide patient education about procedures and medication management.

Utilizing the nursing process, you will provide patient care, maintain professional accountability, evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers, coordinate care in conjunction with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality. All duties will align with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Mercy Carthage is a 25‑bed hospital serving the Carthage and surrounding areas.

• Required
  
  Education:
  
  Nursing Degree from an accredited school
• License: Current RN license in our state or compact licensure, meeting all state board of nursing requirements
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
