Responsibilities and Duties

Perform professional accounting work involving compilation, consolidation, and analysis of accounting and finance information for the production of financial statements and reports.
Applies accounting techniques and standard practices to the classification and recording of financial transactions.
Specific duties vary by department and may include, but are not limited to, one or more of the following: preparation of journal entries, fixed asset or inventory accounting, preparation of trial balance or financial statements, cost accounting, bank account reconciliations, accurate tracking and recording various income and expense activity and suspense account items, proper tracking and recording of receivables, etc.

• Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations in accordance with GAAP.
• Conduct variance reporting to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in system improvements and process optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• CPA preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• SAP or Oracle experience preferred.
