This position offers the opportunity to engage in a collaborative environment where you will make a personal impact every day.  We are seeking a highly strategic, analytical, and results-oriented Director of Enterprise Inventory Demand Planning to lead enterprise integrated planning across merchandise financial plans, customer demand forecasts, buying decisions, and inventory execution. This leader connects sales and margin objectives with forecast demand and inventory investment to improve product availability, inventory productivity, and profitable growth across all channels.

Partnering with Merchandising and Finance, the Director establishes disciplined planning processes, strengthens forecasting capabilities, and provides a forward-looking view of buying capacity, inventory requirements, and business risks. The role owns the integrity of the integrated plan while enabling informed commercial decisions through fact-based analysis, clear governance, and cross-functional accountability.

The ideal candidate combines deep retail inventory planning expertise with a forward-thinking mindset and passion for innovation. They possess a strong understanding of forecasting methodologies, inventory productivity metrics, and cross-functional business planning processes, while also embracing emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, predictive analytics, and automation to transform planning effectiveness and decision-making.

This is a highly visible leadership role that directly influences financial performance, customer experience, and enterprise strategy.

What You’ll Do:

This is a Full-Time Salary Position Merchandise Financial Planning & Open-to-Buy Lead integrated sales, margin, inventory, and receipt planning aligned with financial objectives.

Own open-to-buy planning and governance, connecting forecast demand, purchase commitments, planned receipts, and remaining buying capacity.

Align inventory investment with expected demand, financial objectives, and product availability goals.

Partner with Merchandising and Finance to reconcile commercial strategies, financial plans, demand forecasts, and inventory commitments.

Provide Merchants with fact-based recommendations on purchase proposals, reorders, newness, product replacements, and assortment exits.

Partner with Inventory Planning and Replenishment to optimize inventory targets, replenishment strategies, and receipt timing.

Identify risks and opportunities involving excess inventory, aging products, and purchase commitments.

Identify financial and inventory risks, recommend corrective actions, and establish escalation processes for material deviations from approved plans.
