Director of Construction

Compensation: Competitive base salary + bonus + benefits

This is an opportunity for an experienced construction leader to oversee the delivery of large, fast-moving data center developments for one of the industry’s fastest-growing digital infrastructure platforms.

You will take direct ownership of major construction projects while leading a small team of construction professionals. The position combines hands-on project execution with team leadership, contractor management, commercial oversight, and cross-functional coordination.

This role is suited to someone who has successfully delivered large-scale data center projects and wants broader leadership responsibility without moving away from construction execution.

• Lead major data center projects from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover
• Manage cost, schedule, safety, quality, risk, and contractor performance
• Lead and develop a team of construction professionals
• Direct general contractors, design teams, commissioning agents, and equipment suppliers
• Oversee contracts, change orders, cost forecasts, and commercial controls
• Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Operations, Network, and Finance teams
• Inspect construction progress and resolve issues affecting delivery
• Establish project controls, reporting standards, and construction best practices

• 10+ years of progressive commercial or mission-critical construction experience
• Direct responsibility for projects or capital programs valued at $100M+
• Strong understanding of data center design, construction, and commissioning
• Experience managing general contractors, MEP partners, consultants, and vendors
• Demonstrated success leading and developing construction teams
• Strong command of CPM scheduling, cost forecasting, change management, and contract administration
• Ability to review construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and contracts
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field

• Hands-on construction leader with strong commercial and technical judgment
• Experienced in managing complex, accelerated data center programs
• Comfortable leading internal teams and holding external partners accountable
• Highly organized and decisive in fast-paced project environments
• Strong communicator who can provide clear reporting to senior leadership
