Surgery - Vascular Physician

We re seeking a Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon for a locums assignment in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a hybrid role offering daytime coverage, weeknight call, and 24-hour weekend call.

• Start Date: ASAP June 30, 2026 (with option to extend)

• Schedule:

  • Weekdays (M
    
    F): 8a 5p regular coverage

  • Weeknights: 1:2 call

  • Weekends: 24-hr call (Sat Sun, rounds + call, includes 4 hrs patient contact)

• Call Rotation: 1:2 weekdays + every other weekend

• Average Census: inpatients / 22 office patients

• Procedures: AAA, CEAs, TECARS, EVARS, fistulas, amputations, peripheral angios/interventions

• Support Staff: APPs, RNs, MAs

• EMR: Epic

• Hospital Beds: 347 (non-trauma)

• Board Certified in Vascular Surgery

• ACLS/BLS

• Active PA license preferred (IMLC w/ LOQ considered)

• Minimum 2 weeks/month commitment

• Clean malpractice & background for privileging (6 8 weeks for clean files)
