Budgeting & Reporting Analyst Why This Opportunity Stands Out:

  • Own and continue building a budgeting and reporting function that is still evolving, giving you the opportunity to improve processes and make the role your own.
  • Gain direct exposure to senior leadership and department heads while serving as a key resource for financial planning and decision support.
  • Enjoy a flexible hybrid schedule, with the potential for just two days per week in the office once established.
  • Join a stable, growing organization that has expanded approximately 45% over the past six years through organic growth and acquisitions.
  • Work for a mission-driven organization serving individuals who require essential, around-the-clock care.

Target Compensation: $70,000–$100,000, with an ideal target of $80,000–$95,000 based on experience

Key Responsibilities for the Budgeting & Reporting Analyst:
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, partnering with department heads and leadership to develop detailed operating budgets.
  • Analyze budget-to-actual results, KPIs, dashboards, and financial trends while identifying and communicating key variances.
  • Partner with the Controller to provide analysis and inputs that support forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Build and maintain Excel-based budgeting models across multiple departments and operating locations.
  • Enhance dashboards and reporting capabilities, partnering with external Power BI resources as needed.
Qualifications for the Budgeting & Reporting Analyst:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Hands-on budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, or FP&A experience.
  • Strong Excel capabilities, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and financial modeling.
  • Nonprofit experience is preferred but not required; healthcare, manufacturing, or other cost accounting/reporting environments translate well. Power BI and Sage Intacct experience are pluses.
