What We're Looking For

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

+ 1-2 years of Operating Room experience preferred

+ Orthopaedic surgery experience strongly preferred

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

+ Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills

+ Preparing and maintaining sterile fields, instruments, and surgical equipment

Pennsylvania House Bill 81 (Enacted 10/29/2020; Effective 12/27/2020)

+ Two years of current Surgical Technologist experience demonstrating advanced knowledge in at least two surgical specialties. Surgical specialties include, but are not limited to:
General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Plastic and Reconstructive, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Thoracic, Ophthalmic, Neurosurgery, Organ Procurement, Endoscopic Surgical Settings

+ Access to medications is limited to the distribution of the medication to the nurse.

In addition to the required experience, candidates must meet one of the following:

+ Completed a program sponsored by a nationally recognized institutional or programmatic accreditation organization and maintain certification

+ Completed an appropriate military training program

+ Maintain certification from an accredited program

+ Were employed as a Surgical Technologist in a healthcare facility on or before December 27, 2020

+ Were employed as a Surgical Technologist at…
