Job Summary:

PNC is seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist Senior to join the Modeling & Customer Analytics organization. This role will focus on supporting analytics initiatives across Branch Banking, Customer Care Center, and Customer Analytics functions, leveraging advanced analytics, statistical techniques, and large-scale data processing to drive business insights and decision-making.

The ideal candidate will possess strong programming expertise in Python and PySpark, experience working with large datasets, and the ability to communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This position will partner closely with business leaders and technology teams to develop predictive models, conduct ad hoc analyses, support test-and-learn initiatives, and deliver actionable insights that improve customer and business outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field; OR Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.

- Strong experience in Data Science, Business Analytics, or Advanced Analytics roles.

- Advanced programming skills in Python, PySpark, SQL, or Jupyter Hub/Jupyter Notebook environments

- Experience working in Linux environments.

- Experience with big data platforms, including Teradata and large-scale data processing frameworks.

- Strong statistical, analytical, and mathematical problem-solving skills.

- Experience developing predictive models and performing forecasting, and Clustering/Segmentation Analysis

- Experience conducting ad hoc analyses and translating data into business recommendations.

- Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts effectively to business stakeholders, technical teams, and non-technical audiences.

- Experience developing data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau and/or Power BI.

- Strong coding, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with in the Banking or Financial Services industry.

- Experience supporting customer analytics, branch banking analytics, or contact center analytics functions.

- Knowledge of customer behavior modeling and business performance measurement.

- Familiarity with experimental design, A/B testing, and test-and-learn methodologies.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams in large enterprise environments.
