Specialist, Environmental Health and Safety

Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist supporting compliance and performance at the West Point biopharmaceutical manufacturing site.

• conduct hazard assessments, environmental regulatory analyses, incident investigations, and develop EHS procedures and training;
• ensure conformance to regulations;
• support incident investigations, audits, and permit applications;
• lead EHS committees and initiatives;
• facilitate corrective actions.

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Safety or Environmental field;
• 3-5 years of applied EHS experience;
• proficiency in environmental compliance, occupational health, process safety, and incident investigations;
• basic project management and budgeting skills.

• professional certifications like CSP or CIH;
• prior support of biomanufacturing or pharmaceutical R&D facilities.

supporting a biopharma manufacturing site, involving compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations, with a focus on process safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental management in a regulated manufacturing environment.

partner with operations teams and support EHS committees.

hybrid onsite at West Point, with 10% travel.
