UPMC Presbyterian, a Magnet designated hospital, is currently hiring a Part-Time Registered Nurse to support the unit 10D/G Pulmonary Transplant/Medicine!
About the Unit:
10DG is a 29-bed Advanced Lung Disease and Lung Transplant Step Down unit. We care for pulmonary transplant patients as well as patients with advanced lung conditions including cystic fibrosis, COPD, asthma, scleroderma, sleep apnea, sarcoidosis, and pulmonary hypertension. The unit is involved in many research trials for pulmonary patients such as COPD Valve and Bone Marrow Transplant patients. We commonly receive patients from the Medical ICU with high acuity, noninvasive ventilation, tracheostomies and nocturnal trach vents.
We encounter many specialized medications and equipment types, and we perform bronchoscopies, thoracentesis, and line placement at the bedside. Our nurses value teamwork, professionalism, and excellent patient care.
Our Registered Nurses work rotating shifts including weekends/holidays to ensure 24/7 coverage on the floor.

Responsibilities:
