Shift Details:
- Day shift- 8 hours
RN Oncology
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients, including assessment, monitoring, and management of patient needs.
- Administer medications, chemotherapy, and other prescribed treatments according to established protocols and safety standards.
- Monitor patients for treatment responses, side effects, and changes in condition, and promptly communicate concerns to the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, symptom management, and ongoing care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatments, patient responses, and care provided.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support individualized patient care plans and ensure continuity of care.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current, valid, and unrestricted PA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
- Minimum of 1+ year within the last 3 years of recent experience as an RN
- Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
- Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,)
