As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Identity Assurance in Northampton, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.03 / Hour

• Sun: 04:00 AM - 10:00 AM

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems or badge management. This experience is crucial for maintaining security protocols within our organization.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Proficiency in using computers or tablets is essential. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to navigate software applications and perform tasks efficiently using digital devices.
• Customer Service Experience (B219): A background in customer service is highly beneficial. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, authorizing entry in accordance with site procedures, and maintaining accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, shipments, and deliveries as directed by site‑specific policies, helping to deter unauthorized access and loss.
• Respond to access‑control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, the business, and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns.

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
