Job Overview:
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to customers within a designated area. You will ensure timely delivery of products, maintain high standards of customer service, and keep accurate records related to deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery of Goods:
  Transport products from the warehouse or distribution center to customer locations in a timely manner.
• Route Planning:
  Follow predefined routes or GPS directions while ensuring the most efficient and safest path is taken.
• Customer Interaction:
  Provide excellent customer service during delivery, which includes greeting customers, handling any questions or concerns, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Inventory Management:
  Verify the contents of delivery against orders and confirm that deliveries are accurate, complete, and in good condition.
• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate delivery records, including delivery logs, receipts, and signatures, and submit required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Vehicle Maintenance:
  Ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean, maintained, and in good working condition. Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor or fleet manager promptly.
• Safety Compliance:
  Follow traffic laws, company safety protocols, and all applicable regulations while on the road.
• Handling Returns:
  If applicable, collect return items from customers and manage the return process according to company procedures.
• Problem Solving:
  Address any issues or delays in deliveries, such as road closures, product issues, or customer concerns, and work to resolve them quickly.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• License:
  Valid driver's license (specific class may vary based on vehicle type).
• Experience: 3 years of delivery experience is preferred.
• Skills:
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
  • Basic knowledge of GPS systems and route planning.
  • Ability to lift and carry packages as needed.
  • Time management skills to ensure punctual deliveries.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stretch, and sit for extended periods while driving.
• Ability to handle varied weather conditions (if applicable).
