Position Summary

The Local (Class

A) CDL Driver is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport goods to customer locations while ensuring compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies. This role requires strong attention to safety, efficiency, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in local routes
• Transport materials using flatbeds, dry vans, doubles, or curtain side trailers
• Properly secure loads to ensure safe transit and prevent damage
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations
• Load and unload materials as required
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and internal teams
• Work overtime and occasional weekends as business needs require

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license
• Minimum of 2 years of Class A driving experience
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety practices
• Ability to secure loads and handle physical job requirements

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, and pull materials as needed
• Regular climbing, bending, and securing loads
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions
• Extended periods of driving and sitting

Compensation & Pay Transparency

• Pay Range: Between$29.00-$30.00 per hour (actual compensation may vary based on experience, location, and shift)
• Additional compensation may include overtime, incentives, or shift differentials based on location and role
• Pay is determined based on experience, skills, and geographic location in compliance with applicable state and local laws
