Service Technician

Job Summary:

Haddad Toyota, a leading automotive dealership in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, is seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team. This is a full‑time, hourly position in the auto industry, which offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $120,000 per year, paid weekly. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the maintenance, repair, and diagnosis of vehicles at our dealership.

• Perform maintenance and repairs on vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines and dealership standards
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on vehicles using diagnostic equipment and tools
• Complete work orders and document all services and repairs performed
• Communicate with customers and provide exceptional customer service
• Ensure the work area and tools are kept clean and organized
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations
• Keep up‑to‑date with new vehicle models and technologies through training and self‑study

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Service Technician in the auto industry preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and tools
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Detail‑oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
