Berkshire Community College encourages evidence-based teaching and helps faculty members avail themselves of many professional development opportunities, from frequent in-house training, and teaching-and-learning workshops to discipline-specific conferences. Within Academic Affairs, we seek to cultivate an atmosphere of collegial and collaborative learning focused on equitable student outcomes and inclusive relationships that promote curiosity and joy. Faculty and staff create innovative programs and opportunities that provide the knowledge and skills for students to thrive as globally minded, engaged community members and perpetual learners to better position students for successful transfer and employability.

Berkshire Community College (BCC) is actively building its adjunct pool for the Mathematics Department within the Science & Business Division. As student enrollment continues to grow, we are preparing to meet demand by expanding our roster of qualified and dedicated instructors.

We are currently seeking adjunct faculty who are available to teach in person on our Pittsfield campus, either during the day or in the evening.

Adjunct faculty in Science & Business Division deliver high-quality classroom instruction to students enrolled in certificate and associate degree programs. The ideal candidate will bring both content expertise and a passion for teaching in a student-centered, inclusive learning environment, reflective of the community college mission.
