• An educator for adults who functions as consultant, resource person, and teacher to all levels of personnel in accordance with the philosophy and objectives of Berkshire Health Systems. Responsibilities include assessing needs, establishing objectives, developing and implementing programs, evaluating outcomes, and maintaining current professional knowledge. The primary responsibility is for the development of staff within BHS and especially in the educator's assigned department.

• Position Qualifications (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
• Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years professional experience in health care required. Prior relevant experience within assigned preferred.
• Education and Training:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Nursing or Human Resources. Master's preferred. If ANCC Primary Nurse a minimum of a BSN is required. The area of degree may vary depending on specific assignment.
• License, Certification & Registration:
  • RN currently registered in the State of Ma if specific job role requires a nurse.
• Other Requirements:
  • Knowledge of adult education methods and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to teach all age groups.
  • Registered Nurse if involved in nursing development.
