The paraprofessional will assist one or more teachers in the implementation of the instructional program and shall perform all the tasks, responsibilities, and duties as assigned by the teachers(s).

• assisting the teacher and the student with the instructional program
• assisting the teacher to assess student performance
• maintaining records and data on student performance as assigned by the teacher
• monitoring student behavior and assisting students to engage in appropriate classroom behavior
• assisting the teacher in implementing IEPs, when applicable

• Must be "Highly Qualified" as proscribed by NCLB (Associate's degree or passing Para Pro or Work Keys assessment)
• Experience working with secondary students. Experience in the workplace in specific Career and Technical Education training areas preferred.
• Ability to assist the teacher and the student in the CTE shops and related theory classrooms. Ability to multitask. Ability to work as part of a team. Willing to be trained in industry certificates, i.e., OSHA 10, Hot Works, Serve Safe, etc.
• Position for the 2026/27 school year only
