Req Advanced Systems Engineer Operational Support

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a systems engineer for FBM Operational Support, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for ensuring the supportability of the SSBN and SSGN platforms.

• Independently generate and maintain equipment service life evaluation tools
• Success leading equipment sustainment evaluations utilizing industry and historical information, identifying critical at-risk components, and generating risk mitigation plans
• Creative thinker motivated to apply technical standards and evaluation methodologies to develop equipment sustainment solutions
• Collaborative team player with the ability to provide technical leadership and position others for success
• Strong presentation and communications skills with experience in the art of negotiation and the ability to meet challenging customer requirements with win-win solutions
