Job Description
The Systems Engineering Support Specialist supports the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) program by providing hands‑on assistance across hardware, software, and systems engineering functions. This role contributes to test and integration activities, requirements development, system modeling, and hardware‑systems engineering. The selected candidate works closely with a cross‑functional engineering team to support the planning, execution, and delivery of integrated systems solutions.

- Support test and integration efforts, including hardware and software validation, verification, and performance testing.
- Assist in documenting, analyzing, and managing system requirements.
- Contribute to Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities, including system modeling, simulations, and design analysis.
- Provide support in hardware‑systems engineering tasks, including design, integration, and troubleshooting of hardware components.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and support project objectives.
- Apply established systems engineering concepts, principles, and technical standards.
- Support ongoing professional development initiatives across the engineering team.
- Bachelor’s or technology degree in engineering or related technical field, OR 4 years of equivalent job‑related experience.
- Additional 2+ years of relevant experience, OR a master’s degree.
- Understanding of systems engineering methodologies and requirements management processes.
- Familiarity with system modeling tools and MBSE practices.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic engineering environment.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work on‑site in Pittsfield, MA, with potential for occasional hybrid flexibility.
- Department of Defense Secret clearance preferred at time of hire.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Flexible scheduling options available, including a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.
