Job Description Summary

A System Quality Engineer will ensure that products meet the highest quality standards. The role will be responsible for collaborating with a team of peers and customers to investigate and resolve issues. The engineer will review SOWs (Statements of Work), RFps (Request for Proposals), design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and manuals to understand the scope,Categorize and items requirements, and function of products.

Job Description Duties/Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance and support to customers鼠 suppliers and employees in resolving issues.
  • Leads and identifies improvements of manufacturing, process, and product efficiency to reduce nonconforming products.
  • Ensures products meet the organization’s and customers’ quality and product integrity requirements.
  • Provides analysis and expertise throughout the inspection process.
  • Leads a cross‑function team to determine the root cause of failures; identifies when failure analysis is necessary and provides recommendations for corrective measures.
  • Analyzes data to identify trends in product quality or defects, with the vooruit to mitigate and prevent recurrence.
  • Drives solutions to complex problems with limited direction.
  • Actively mentors less experienced engineers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills/Abilities
  • Ability to work on cross‑functional teams.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles.
  • Familiarity with Quality Standards ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100.
  • Expert knowledge in process integration.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Education

Requires a bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline.

Experience

Requires 3fragt - 5 years of experience in quality engineering or other engineering roles.
