Advance Systems Engineer - Strategic Weapons Control

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to obtain a Defense Secret security clearance within a reasonable amount of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a systems engineer for Strategic Weapons Control, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for design and deployment of modernization initiatives for the country's strategic submarine fleet. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:

Guidance system or weapon control knowledge and experience in systems engineering including design documentation and requirements management

Hardware and software integration; planning, testing, troubleshooting, and report generation

Engineering leadership; excellent communication and presentation skills, cross-discipline engineering knowledge, design review package generation, and developing customer intimacy
